Child Marriage Free India Campaign

activites The Child Marriage Free India Campaign is a nationwide campaign launched by the Government of India in 2017 to end child marriage in India. The campaign aims to create awareness about the legal provisions and social consequences of child marriage, and to ensure that all stakeholders are aware of their roles and responsibilities in preventing and prohibiting child marriage.

The campaign is being implemented by the Ministry of Women and Child Development in partnership with UNICEF India.
